This industrial premium quality tool is used to crimp 14AWG or 12AWG or 10AWG cable terminals into MC4 contacts.  It has three locators with 2.5mm, 4mm and 6mm for 14AWG, 12AWG and 10AWG respectively.  Follow the following steps to crimp.

Step 1. Compress handles until ratchet releases to open handles. 

Step 2. Put MC4 contact into 2.5mm, 4mm or 6mm locator. 

Step 3: Drop your cable terminal into MC4 contact that was already put in the locator.

Step 4: Press handles together until MC4 contact wings wrap the cable terminal up tightly.
